The bar, which was approaching 10 years, decided to forego renewing its lease for 2025.

A decade ago, the east bank of the Flats was enjoying a reawakening thanks to a flush of new bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. One of those new attractions was Beerhead, which opened its doors in September 2015.

Sadly, that bar will not make it to its 10th birthday as the owners have decided not to renew the lease on the property.

"After a great amount of thought and deliberation (and a few drinks), we have made the very difficult decision to forego renewing our lease in 2025 to pursue new endeavors," a statement reads.

This does not affect the Avon location, which is under different ownership.

The Cleveland management team went on to thank their loyal staff and faithful fans.

"It has been an amazing journey to be sure. Thank you to all our guests
for supporting us and celebrating your special moments with us. We
will look back at these days with heartwarming, fond memories and
extreme gratitude."
