- Mary J. Blige
- Cher
- Dave Matthews Band
- Foreigner
- Peter Frampton
- Kool & The Gang

Other musicians and music industry pros were also honored through the Rock Hall's other awards. Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick and Norman Whitfield earned the Musical Excellence Award, while Alexis Korner, John Mayall and Big Mama Thornton won the Early Influence Award.
Meanwhile, longtime Motown leader Suzanne de Passe wins the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
The inductees were announced on Sunday night's episode of American Idol by host Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Ritchie, a judge on the show and a 2022 Rock Hall inductee.
Frampton shared the news on social media. "This is something I never expected," he posted on X. "I am overwhelmed that I will be inducted into the @rockhall, especially alongside so many incredible artists who have gone before me. I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for me. You are the best. Somebody pinch me please!!"
Dave Matthews Band, a band which has led the Rock Hall's fan vote in past years, shared its excitement about induction on X as well: "Dave Matthews Band is honored to be in the @rockhall Class Of 2024. Congrats to our fellow nominees and thanks so much to all of our fans for the support!"
Inductees will be honored at an induction ceremony at Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Oct. 19.
