Dr. Stamler, distinguished university professor and president and co-founder of Harrington Discovery Institute at University Hospitals, leads an organization dedicated to advancing scientific discoveries into the clinic and transforming breakthroughs into life-saving medicines. Established in 2012 with a $50 million gift from the Harrington family, the institute has supported over 200 scientists across the U.S., U.K. and Canada. Dr. Stamler holds the Robert S. and Sylvia K. Reitman Family Foundation Chair of Cardiovascular Innovation. He is a Professor of Medicine and of Biochemistry and the Founding Director of the Institute for Transformative Molecular Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
