Travis & Taylor Take Their Love to New Heights

For Cleveland Heights native and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, it was love at first sight while seeing Taylor Swift perform on her record-breaking Eras Tour.
After admitting on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to meet Swift and give her a beaded friendship bracelet donning his phone number, his wishes came true, and they started dating in 2023. His love went full circle, even getting to have his popstar girlfriend as a guest on his show to announce her newest album, Life of a Showgirl.
His fairytale continues as the couple announced their engagement on Instagram on Tuesday. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” wrote Swift in her post.
In recent months, the couple has been spotted numerous times in Northeast Ohio: dining at JoJo’s Bar in Chagrin Falls and supposedly house hunting. Perhaps a Cleveland wedding could be next.
